The 资本 City Teacher Residency (CCTR) program is a 2+2 degree program in collaboration with Columbus State Community College, 哥伦布市学区, 和威尼斯人平台. The CCTR program is mirrored after medical residency models in that students take courses from 威尼斯人平台 professors while gaining practical experience from mentor teachers in classrooms in Columbus City Schools.

Current seniors graduating from Columbus City Schools can apply to Columbus Promise and take two years of coursework free of charge at Columbus State prior to beginning the two-year residency at 资本.

The 资本 City Teacher Residency program was created to respond to the current substitute teacher shortage and grow the number of high-quality educators in Ohio. CCTR致力于为个人提供获得教育执照的替代途径. The coursework has been specifically designed to be asynchronous so that you can complete the work at your own pace and on your own time. The curriculum has been designed to provide you with ongoing support for the full length of the program. Our goal is to prepare you to learn effective teaching practices that will prepare you to manage and lead in your own classroom.
